THE 2020 CENSUS IS HERE!
WHY DOES THE CENSUS MATTER?

The Census matters more than most of us realize.
The Census determines how federal funding is given out to our communities.
Census data is used to distribute over $1.5 trillion annually, nationwide, for programs that support our communities and benefit all Americans.
The Census also directly determines our Congressional seats and redistricting at all levels of government.
And then the same Census data helps our government officials ensure the enforcement of a broad range of civil rights policies.
In short, the Census gives us an understanding of who we are as a nation.
California Region 10 includes the hardest to count county in California, Imperial, and the 21st hardest to count, San Diego.
Getting a full count in San Diego and Imperial counties is vitally important for our vibrant, growing region.
WHo we are.
Count Me 2020 is a coalition of over 100 community organizations and civic groups working to ensure a complete and accurate 2020 Census count in San Diego and Imperial Counties.
